About Age Concern
Age Concern Costa Cálida is a non-profit organisation based in Camposol, dedicated to enhancing the lives of the seniors in our community. We help over-50s residents receive the support and companionship they need to live fulfilling lives, through advice and information, befriending, hospital and homecare visiting, and medical equipment hire.
Our key services include:
- Transport to and from medical and hospital appointments.
- Local shopping assistance, whether groceries or prescriptions.
- Befriending, so that no one is lonely.
- Events, so there is a range of activities to enjoy.
- Hire of equipment for those in need of a mobility aid.
- Help applying for Attendance Allowance, so our retirees receive the benefits they are entitled to.
Age Concern Costa Cálida is managed and run wholly by unpaid volunteers, and our costs are covered by fundraising activities and generous donations from local residents.
Please note that we are advisory and not a care facility, but we can point you in the right direction should you need translators, carers or other specialist help.
