About Noah's Arc
Noah's ARC (Animal Rescue Centre) is a registered charity in the Murcia region that has grown into a vital lifeline for abandoned and mistreated dogs. It began in 2001 with just a few volunteers and now typically cares for over 100 dogs at any one time.
The charity believes all dogs deserve kindness and a life without pain, and aims to rehome abandoned animals wherever possible. It maintains its own kennel facility, recently improved to a beautiful, safe and comfortable environment, where volunteers walk the dogs around the countryside. Wherever possible dogs are placed in private foster homes to help them adjust and free up space for new rescues.
The organisation is entirely volunteer-run and relies on public donations and the proceeds from its two shops to cover veterinary bills, food and kennel costs. You can drop off donations of clothes, furniture and bric-a-brac at the lower level of the B Sector Commercial Centre on Calle Jara, or at Puerto de Mazarrón. There is also a weekly pop-up stall every Friday outside Happy Pets on Camposol B from 9:30am to 12:00pm.
