The Salon

I have been going to this establishment since they opened 22 years ago on Sector C. It is like my second home. All the ladies are not only very capable, but also a delight to talk to. The atmosphere is always lovely and invariably other customers join in the banter so it usually ends up as a bit of a social occasion too!

The Salon has the most extensive range of treatments imaginable and at very competitive prices and I try as many as I can when I get the chance.

At 65 years old, I can no longer wait more than 4 weeks without my grey roots appearing and I am not ready to grow old gracefully just yet.

I regularly have either Tanya or Melissa to do my hair but all the ladies are equally as good so it usually just depends on the day as to who does my treatments, they are all extremely capable.

I also opt for Shellac on my nails with “French” finish so they look as natural as possible and again there is a wonderful team here. Leah, Lyndsay, Ella and sometime Tegan will always leave me feeling very happy when I leave. Now the warm weather has finally arrived, I will be back there to get my summer toes ready in the near future.

When I need a bit of “me time” I will opt for a facial, or a back massage with the very capable Lyndsay or Leah. There are endless treatments available and new products and services are being launched all the time.

I can also always rely on Mari Carmen to brush up my conversational Spanish which is never a bad thing, and young Amy to add to the fun with her amazing sense of humour, and cheeky but adorable habits.
