The Green Fingers volunteers were out in force again in Camposol Sector C this week, and this time their work carried a special meaning: helping the Royal British Legion ahead of Remembrance.
Out on the dual carriageway, Ken weeded and swept, while Paul and Paul trimmed and tidied the trees and bushes around the memorial in preparation for the Remembrance Garden. Kevin, Alan and John took care of the watering and lent the Pauls a hand at the memorial.
Jan and Maggie were on the collection buckets, and a big thank you goes to everyone who stopped and chipped in. Thanks too to Trevi Bar and Angie for doing the breakfasts, and to Val for a delicious bread pudding.

Green Fingers meet every Wednesday from 9am to 11am at the collection point for some light gardening, keeping Camposol Sector C looking its best. Breakfast is provided, so just wear suitable clothing and bring some water. New volunteers are always welcome.
