The Costa Cálida Cruisers Motorcycle Club are delighted to announce that on 1 November they held their tenth annual Memorial Run, in Puerto de Mazarrón, and raised a total of 1,000 euros in aid of the Making A Difference charity. The run is held every year to remember the bikers who have passed on, especially those who were instrumental in the founding of the club.
This year more than seventy big bikes roared out of Puerto de Mazarrón, over the mountains and through the villages in the campo, before stopping at the Circuito de Cartagena for a break and a cuppa. They then rode back to the Puerto to enjoy an afternoon of excellent music from Badlands, eating, drinking, browsing the stalls and taking part in the raffle. Members of the public turned out to enjoy the event too, and at the end everyone witnessed the presentation of 1,000 euros to representatives of the Making A Difference charity.

A video of the event will be available soon on the club’s Facebook page and YouTube channel.
The Costa Cálida Cruisers have a long history of raising money for a variety of local good causes. This year they again supported Making A Difference, who help anyone in need regardless of race or religion and dedicate themselves to supplying aid to some of the most needy in the community. Making A Difference have recently supported a group that provides care for disabled children, helped fund a disabled-friendly garden at a social centre, and supported The Samaritans.

The Costa Cálida Cruisers M.C.C. is for riders in the Mazarrón area of Murcia. Established in 2016, the club is open to new members who enjoy a ride-out with friends. Membership is open to riders with a full licence and a road-legal bike that can keep up with the group, and non-riding pillions are welcome too.
