Forget Me Not: drop-in nursing service and volunteers needed
Forget Me Not Mazarrón is a respite centre on Camposol, offering a warm and friendly place for people living with Alzheimer’s, dementia and other long-term illnesses, and a much-needed break for their carers. They have asked us to share a reminder of their drop-in service and an appeal for volunteers.
Drop-In Nursing Service
The drop-in nursing service is available on Mondays and Thursdays, 10:00am to 1:15pm, at the Sector B Community Centre.
Heather or Helen are on hand for advice, to direct you to other services that may be available, or just for a friendly chat. No appointment is necessary, just pop in.
They are always delighted to welcome new clients, and all Forget Me Not services, including lunch and refreshments, are provided completely free of charge.
Volunteers Needed
Forget Me Not is currently in urgent need of additional volunteers. If you can spare a few hours and would like to make a real difference in your community, please contact Heather on 603 125 782. They warmly welcome volunteers of all nationalities.
